SizingNot all hat manufacturers handle sizing the same way. Click the logo below for sizing information for a specific hat brand. How to Measure for a Hat: You can figure your hat size by measuring around your head with a cloth tape measure. Just place the tape around your head, making sure it is about an inch or so above your eyebrows and goes around your head where a hat would settle. Take the measurement in inches to the 1/8th of an inch and convert it to your head size using the chart below. How to Measure for Shirts: For men, as a general rule, the number of inches measured will equal your size, when measured correctly. Be sure to measure your body, do not measure over shirts or slacks. Chest - With arms at sides, measure around your upper body under your armpits and over the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades, keeping tape parallel to the floor. Neck - Take a shirt with a collar that fits well. Lay collar flat, and measure from center of collar button to far end of buttonhole. Number of inches = size. Sleeve - With arm bent at 90 degrees, place hand on hip. Start at the center of the back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow down to the wrist. Waist - Measure your natural waist at the height you normally wear your pants. See more sizing information from
